Think Low and Lush

Centerpieces are often the detail that brings together our tables at the reception, however, instead of thinking tall and extravagant arrangements, get back to basics. This season, low and lush centerpieces made with full blooms set into creative containers are going to be taking center stage as the center of your guests’ tables.

Blooms like peonies, roses, tulips, hydrangea, or other full and festive florals are gong to be popular as they are placed in short, small planters, pedestals, glass vases or even apple crates! The key is to pick a container that’s unexpected yet elegant. Shop the thrift stores or get creative with some boxes and see what you can make for your big day. Just remember to keep things full and short. Your guests will love the look of these centerpieces, plus, they’ll be able to talk to one another from across the table without ducking behind some carnations or falling ivy!
